Flutterbug Friday #29 - Valentine’s Crafts Edition

What fun we are having with Valentine’s Day stuff. Mama took us to buy each a Valentine book. Ariana picked a Dora Valentine’s Day book and I picked Max and Ruby coloring/activity book.

Yesterday, we played with hearts, paper, crayons, stamps and glue. Our favorite was glue and tissue paper. It gets really sticky.

We made hanging tissue hearts and hung them in our rooms.

Today we made heart sugar sprinkle cookies.

They were yummy. We hope to travel Sunday to visit the “abuelos” and cousins. See you all soon!

Day 2 & 3

On our second day we made heart people. Ariana was too sick to join us. We did make sure to make one for her as well.

Today we made crayon hearts. Gabby was great at helping break the pieces of crayons and filling up the heart molds.

This project was quick and easy. The hardest part was waiting for the hearts to set after we took them out of the oven.

Once they were set, the girls had a fun time drawing on their paper. Even a sick little Ariana got into it.

Day One - Making Love Notes

Last night I made the girls’ their Valentine Mailboxes. All the supplies came from the Target’s dollar bin section.

Gabby arranged the hearts, while Ariana happily colored around them. Then off they went into their mail boxes.

Favorite Christmas Memory: Going up and Down abuela’s stairs.  Ariana spent the entire time climbing up and down the stairs.

Favorite Gift: Doodle Pad.  Ariana likes  walking  around the house calling it a “notebook”.

We had so much fun with our family and friends. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts.  We hope to see you all soon!

Noon Year’s Eve

Happy New Year!

On New Year’s Eve, we headed out to the annual new year’s eve celebration at the Jacksonville Zoo.

Every year the zoo holds this event. Lots of entertainment, games, prizes, and an apple juice toast at 12pm. Such a cute event for the kids. While crowded, we headed off to the girls’  favorite spot at the zoo; the carousel.
