We played and ate “colorful cheerios” today.

Girls admiring their work.
Ariana helped with sorting the colors and Gabby glued the cereal onto the paper.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Its been a while since I posted. Here are some pictures of me painting.

Mama says I need to work on painting the paper, not my face. I couldn’t help it….
Whew! End of January already! Took forever to put away the Christmas Decorations. It felt like we needed a long rest from our holiday travels. Need to organize toys and girls’ closets. Had to buy new shoes and longer pants for them… growth spurts. Redoing and decorating the girls’ rooms. Cold weather. Rainy, wet and colder weather. Colds, Croups and Fevers being passed around. Realizing that in just four weeks we will be celebrating Gabby’s 3rd birthday! Where does the time go…
Excited to find a fudge brownie mix with chocolate chips that is peanut and dairy free. The product line is Cherrybrook Kitchen. We had them for dessert tonight. Very tasty.

I let Ariana clean out the bowl and spatula.

She seemed to enjoy the special treat. Hoping the girls can get better from their colds and we can catch up with our friends soon.

I decided to have a Valentine countdown for the two weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day. Just fun stuff for the girls… baking, crafting, and making cards for family and friends. Will try my best to post our activities!
Lately, she is climbing on everything.
Climbs on furniture, stools, tables, boxes and even the wipee box.
When she climbs down, she claps for herself.
Can drink out of a sippy cup, but perfers her bottle or tete.
Everytime we walk by a picture handing on the wall, she starts saying everyone’s name. She always starts with dada.
Loves talking on the phone and even uses a remote control as a phone.
She’s really social. Just yesterday while shopping at Ross, a lady said hello to her and she went over and hugged her leg. Then she walked over and hugged her friend’s leg too.
She bobs to the ending of Dora the Explorer.
We can feel the word explosion coming on. Lately, she says “cheese”, “abuela”, “shoes” and “aiana”. Her vocabulary is growing everyday.
Hates to wear shoes.
Loves to sing Old Mcdonald and Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Can’t get enough of Where is Baby’s Mommy by Karen Katz.
A few days ago, I went by the children’s hospital to get a copy of her medical records. I chuckled when I read what her pediatric neurologist wrote. “.. the patient is tiny but mighty…”.
She’s compliant with her medication.
Last week, I took her to the allergist for her milk challenge. She refused to drink whole milk. She is content with rice milk.
