The Climber
Posted in Family, The Everyday on 11/11/2008 10:40 am by MomLately, she is climbing on everything.
Climbs on furniture, stools, tables, boxes and even the wipee box.
When she climbs down, she claps for herself.
Can drink out of a sippy cup, but perfers her bottle or tete.
Everytime we walk by a picture handing on the wall, she starts saying everyone’s name. She always starts with dada.
Loves talking on the phone and even uses a remote control as a phone.
She’s really social. Just yesterday while shopping at Ross, a lady said hello to her and she went over and hugged her leg. Then she walked over and hugged her friend’s leg too.
She bobs to the ending of Dora the Explorer.
We can feel the word explosion coming on. Lately, she says “cheese”, “abuela”, “shoes” and “aiana”. Her vocabulary is growing everyday.
Hates to wear shoes.
Loves to sing Old Mcdonald and Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Can’t get enough of Where is Baby’s Mommy by Karen Katz.
A few days ago, I went by the children’s hospital to get a copy of her medical records. I chuckled when I read what her pediatric neurologist wrote. “.. the patient is tiny but mighty…”.
She’s compliant with her medication.
Last week, I took her to the allergist for her milk challenge. She refused to drink whole milk. She is content with rice milk.

And all I can get Reilly to do is to sit up and grunt. Then again, he’s only 7 months old…lol.

Hello girls - I’m very proud of you. I like your Halloween costumes.
Ariana, you are a brave one indeed. Your Tío Juan occasionally suffers from a malady known as “man flu”, which renders him incapable of nearly all his faculties. In sharp contrast, you are burdened with compounded (and sometimes cumulative) medical tests, and carry on living your life and learning at an incredible pace.
I hope to see you at Christmas. Remember: There are people on at least three continents that love you very much.
